While I personally don’t use Jing for high-quality screencast production, I must agree, the quality difference between the two is something quite unpleasing especially for customer support in a company. I also have a few friends who were affected by such move and are now looking for alternatives because they say SnagIt is a “gatling gun” and Jing is a “pistol”. They’d rather bring around a pistol. It’s a shame though that I won’t be able to contact them directly since I’m not from the US or Canada.
